I'm 27 year old trained Marine Engineer who works in retail from the acclaimed sunny south of England that grew up around boats. I used to hit the water on some sort of ferry almost every weekend come rain or shine. My first time on a boat I cried my eyes out the entirety of the voyage. Same for flying too but look at me now. Almost like my feet are the polar opposite to land!

I'm a travel addict who loves to get out of the city and explore the world whilst fitting this in around my full time job. But thats not all I do, I also have a real passion for photography. So what better way to enjoy this than to mix them into one? I know what you're thinking. "Oh just another travel blog website." But TravelholicTom is way more than just that. It's a way to inspire people who have the wanderlust for travel but also the desire for a career in their chosen profession. And I prove that it really is possible to maintain a full time career and see the world in between.
